Founded in 2013, Quatuor Arod won the 2016 ARD String Quartet Competition First Prize in Munich. In 2015, the quartet won First Prize at the Carl Nielsen International Chamber Music Competition in Copenhagen. In 2014, it also won First Prize at the FNAPEC European Contest as well as the ProQuartet-CEMC Special Prize.

In 2016 and 2017, Quatuor Arod is performing at the Palais des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles, Auditorium du Louvre, Centre de musique de chambre de Paris but also Marseille, Bordeaux, Copenhagen, Geneva... Quatuor Arod performs in many festivals: Verbier, Septembre Musical in Montreux, Août Musical in Deauville, Aix-en-Provence… The string quartet is invited to perform alongside artists such as Amihai Grosz, Mathieu Herzog, Martin Fröst, Romain Guyot and Michel Lethiec, Raphaël Pidoux, François Salque and Bruno Philippe.

Quatuor Arod benefits from Mathieu Herzog and Jean Sulem’s teaching and is currently in residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Brussels in the Artemis Quartett class. The quartet also has the opportunity to work with Quatuor Ebène & Quatuor Diotima. In 2016, the quartet becomes one of the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence Academy HSBC laureate. Quatuor Arod has just joined the prestigious BBC program as New Generation Artist 2017-2019.

Quatuor Arod is in residence at the Singer-Polignac Foundation and benefits from grants provided by the Banque Populaire Foundation, Safran Foundation and Mécénat Musical Société Générale. Quatuor Arod is in-residence at ProQuartet since 2015.
