Rachel Koblyakov, violin
Orlando Bass, piano

Avid performers of the regular sonata repertoire as well as works more rarely heard in the concert hall, the Duo Koblyakov/Bass is comprised of Israeli-American violinist Rachel Koblyakov and Franco-British pianist Orlando Bass.

Inspired to offer programs with a new take on classical repertoire, they strive to showcase lesser-known works alongside those more widely-performed. In these programs as well, no boundary is placed between the modern and contemporary, between the classical or even baroque (both on piano and harpsichord), as each holds an indisputably important place in their duo repertoire.

The Duo's most recent project centers around the composer/engraver/painter Michel Ciry, which will culminate in 2020 with a cd recording for the label Naxos.
