Dzovinar Mikirditsian was born in Beirut in 1979. She began learning music from an early age, later studying for piano studies at the National Conservatory of Beirut and the National Conservatory of Yerevan, Armenia. She currently lives in Paris, where since 2013 she studied instrumental and electroacoustic composition with José Manuel López López, Guillaume Loizillon, Alain Bonardi, Jean-Luc Hervé, Philippe Mion, Nicolas Tzortzis and Martin Matalon.
She is a member of the AKN ensemble led by Aram Kérovpyan, a specialist in Armenian monodic music.
Mikirditsian Dzovinar is the winner of Sayat Nova International Competition 2016 for Iyèrk, a piece for tenor voice, traditional flute and string quartet.
In her professional career she has had the opportunity to look for her contribution in several theater, dance, film and video projects by collaborating with artists like Chaghig Arzoumanian, Silvina Der-Meguerditchian, Ghassan Halwani, Jasmin Irhaç, Aurélien Zouki, Academy of Aix en Provence Festival and others.
