Once he has won the second price of Concours International Bach in 1986, Gilles Millet was admitted to the Conservatoire Supérieur de Musique of Paris, in Régis Pasquier's class. He is 16 years old. He also won the First price unanimously and the special price for the contemporary piece in 1991.
Guest professor at the Conservatoire Supérieur de musique de Lyon and at the Orpheus Institut of Gand, in 2003 and 2004, he often gives Masterclass in USA (Skidmore College, Maryland University, UCLA) ,Taiwan, Japan and Europe.
He is now violin professor at the Imep (Belgium), and professor at NSKA Amsterdam.
Gilles Millet is founder and coordinator of the Musicales&Master-Class of Domaine Rurhof.
He was invited by Proquartet to give a MasterClass in Pont-Royal in may 2015.
