Born in Alexandria on December 12, 1943, Michèle Reverdy studied at the Paris Conservatoire with Olivier Messiaen and Claude Ballif, where she won the first counterpoint, analysis and composition awards.

Between 1979 and 1981, she was a boarder at Casa de Velazquez in Madrid.
From 1977 to 1992 she is a producer at Radio-France (France-Culture).

From 1983, she is professor of analysis and orchestration at the National Conservatory of Music and Dance of Paris (CNSMDP).


She has composed for many chamber ensembles: solo instruments, duets, trios, string quartets, wind quintet, etc ...
