In 2016, Quatuor Confluence is unanimously awarded First Prize of the « Tremplin Jeunes Quatuors » Competition at the Philharmonie de Paris, and is awarded with the Fnapec European Competition "Musique d'Ensemble" Prize and ProQuartet-CEMC Special Prize.
Quatuor Confluence studied at Lyon Conservatoire (CNSMDL) in Agnès Sulem and Yovan Markovitch string quartet classes, receiving masterclasses from Ebène, Ysaÿe, Danel, Rosamonde and Zaïde quartets.
In 2016, the quartet participates in the Lyon Opera Festival pour l'Humanité and the Quatre Horizons festival in Ronchamp. Quatuor Confluence is in residence at the Abbaye de Vignogoul and gives concerts in Montpellier, Grenoble and Lyon (Salle Varèse, Goethe-Institut, Opera).
During the summer 2016, the quartet plays Schubert quintet with Yovan Markovitch during the Musique à Flaine Academy. Quatuor Confluence joins the Jeunes Talents association program at Paris Hôtel de Soubises, as well as the Nice Concerts Spirituels program. It will record a studio master, financed by the Philharmonie de Paris.
As part of its ProQuartet Prize at the Fnapec competition, Quatuor Confluence participates in a professional session with Günter Pichler in November 2016.
