The Tchalik Quartet is made up of brothers and sisters that steeped in music from the cradle in a family where music holds an important place, playing together from an early age. The Quartet plays also Quintet concerts with Dania Tchalik, who then joins his brothers and sisters.
Since 2013, the Tchalik Quartet gives concerts at places and festivals such as: Musée des Beaux-Arts in Rouen, St Petersburg's Polytechnic Institute, Kuskovo Palace in Moscow, Orangerie de Sceaux Festival (France), Steirisches Kammermusik Festival (Austria)...
In 2015, the Tchalik Quartet was selected to the prestigious McGill University Academy in Montreal (MISQA) and Villecroze Chamber Music Academy. In 2016, the Quartet takes part in ProQuartet and ECMA masterclasses and is invited by Günter Pichler at the Siena Accademia Chigiana. Moreover, the quartet wins the Chamber Music Award at the International Summer Academy of the University Vienna (ISA).
The Tchalik Quartet receives the invaluable teaching and support of musicians such as Yovan Markovitch (Danel Quartet), Vladimir Bukač, Johannes Meissl, Jan Talich and Macha Yanouchevsky. In 2016, the quartet enters Günter Pichler's class at the Escuela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia in Madrid.
The Tchalik Quartet plays on 4 instruments by the French luthier Philippe Mitéran. Since 2016, the Tchalik Quartet receives the support of the Safran Foundation for Music.
Participating in ProQuartet professional training program, the quartet works with Heime Müller and performs at the Rencontres musicales ProQuartet festival in Seine-et-Marne.
