Surrounded by Chamber Music since their youngest age, Camille Fonteneau, Raphaël Jouan and Alexis Gournel have been exploring with passion the diverse repertoire for piano trio. The Trio Hélios met in 2014 at the CNSMD of Paris, where they received their Master’s Degree in 2019. They were counseled by Itamar Golan, François Salque, Claire Désert, as well as the Wanderer Trio, the  Modigliani, Ebène and Talich Quartets. They became an ECMA Ensemble (European Chamber Music Academy) in 2018. 

They have performed in venues such as the Philharmonie de Paris, Salle Cortot, the Lyon Opera House, the Phoenix Hall in Osaka... and during festivals such as the Festival de la Roque d'Anthéron, the Rencontres Musicales d'Evian, the Festival d'Auvers-sur-Oise, the Festival des Arcs, the Festival de Prades, the "Folles Journées" in Nantes, Warsaw and Tokyo. 

Prize winner of several competitions, they were recently rewarded at Lyon International Chamber Music Competition as well as the Joseph Joachim Chamber Music Competition in Weimar.
