Victor Metral, piano
Born in Savoie of a non-musical family, Justine, Joseph and Victor experience a common attraction to music. Naturally, they decide to share their passion and play together.
They integrate the Paris Conservatoire (CNSMDP) in 2010, and continue their instrumental improvement individually with Philippe Müller, Raphael Pidoux, Olivier Charlier, Anne Queffelec, Claire-Marie Le Guay, Michel Dalberto. They are admitted to the Chamber Music Licence as a group in 2012 in the class of Claire Désert, Amy Flammer and Yovan Markovitch.
Part of the European Chamber Music Academy since October 2013, the Trio Metral plays under the teaching of grand masters like Hatto Bayerle, Johannes Meissl, Ferenc Rados, Avo kouyamadjan, Petre Prause, Patrick Judth.
The Trio Metral performs in numerous festivals like « au rendez-vous de rochebonne » organized by Hervé Billaut , « Printemps Musical des jeunes talents» at the Grenoble museum , « les musicales du Jaur » . They are solicited for the illustration of « la leçon de musique » by Jean François Zygel , the delivery of the award « Prix des neiges » for Gauthier and Renaud Capuçon.
The Trio Metral takes part to the integral Debussy during the session « Chambre à part » in Lille. They participate at the festival Young Talent for the hotel Soubise in Paris and at the festival Pablo casals. Their representation brings them to travel through Europe especialy Vienne, Florence, Vilnius, and to Essaouira for the festival « Printemps des Alizé » .
The Trio Metral is invited to the festival of Radio France Montpellier Roussillon to participate in a Master Class with Renaud Capuçon, and performs at MozartFest in Würzburg. They regularly follow Ysaye Quartet masterclasses and are currently pursuing their perfectionnement in a chamber music Master with François Salque.
In March 2017, the Trio is the winner of the Haydn competition.
Justine plays a cello Franck Ravatin, lent by « Caisse d'Epargne Rhône Alpes » at the initiative of the association « talent et violoncelle ».
The Trio Metral participates in the ProQuartet training program since 2015/2016. In March 2017, Trio Metral becomes a ProQuartet resident.
