Ursula Alvarez Heredia, piano

Ursula Alvarez Heredia begins her musical career at the CNR Grenoble. Wishing to broaden her musical horizons, she pursued a double piano and accompaniment training in Grenoble, at the Rueil-Malmaison CRR and then at the CNSMD Lyon where she obtained her Masters in piano classes (Pierre Pontier, Florent Boffard) and accompaniment (Michel Tranchant, David Selig). She also studied in Germany at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich during an Erasmus exchange with Silke Avenhaus and Donald Sulzen (Lied) where she perfected her knowledge of the German / Austrian repertoire.

During masterclass throughout her studies, she enjoys the advice of Georges Pludermacher, Denis Pascal, Udo Reinemann, François Leroux ... She particularly likes the composers of the twentieth and eleventh century that she defends during her solo recitals in France in France. festivals Sainte-Marie-d'en-Bas, the Pianissimes, The night of the piano, but also in Hungary or Germany. His interest in chamber music and accompaniment allows him to enrich his musical universe as well as his repertoire. She is involved in various ensembles (trio, duo with violin or duo with clarinetist Benjamin Christ) with whom she plays in France, Germany or Italy (Nuits d'été festival in Pausilippe). From his work with baritone Mathieu Gardon was born the Duo Tournissement with which she immersed herself in various repertoires, from big opera tunes to intimist lieder. In international competitions she was also able to accompany bassoonist Sophie Dartigalongue (Finland and Poland) as well as horn player Guillaume Tétu at ARD Munich.

Desiring to explore accompaniment in various forms, she is interested in the relationship between music and dance which she deepens practice at the CRR Toulon as a companion dance classes. Since 2014, she continues this research associating music and movement by integrating the show Pan-Pot or Moderately Chanting (three jugglers, a pianist) which occurs regularly in France and abroad (Chile, Argentina, China ...).

Ursula Alvarez Heredia has always been eager to share and convey her artistic experience; she naturally invested herself in teaching piano and accompaniment. Currently holding a double CA, she is assistant in David Selig's support class at CNSMD Lyon and teaches at the CRD in Bourgoin-Jallieu.
