A major part of ProQuartet musical project is dedicated to creation and musical innovation: new works commissioned, world or French creations… Like this, ProQuartet contributes to widening the chamber music repertoire.
Since 2019, a partnership between Présence féminines' festival in Toulon and ProQuartet have for goal to present works by contemporary womens writing music. In 2021, it results to a co-command to the composer Suzanne Giraud for a string quartet would be created by Tana Quartet. Furthermore an other co-commande between Festival and ProQuartet has proposed for a musical tale "Grande bouche aux milles notes" with Anna Veyrenc's text and original music's Cécile Buchet.
In 2017-2021, ProQuartet-CEMC joins the project "Fifty for the Future" by Kronos Quartet and the Carnegie Hall. It's a free library of fifty contemporary works designed to guide string quartets in developing and honing the skills required for the performance of 21st-century repertoire.
