Certification objectives

Claiming to know a work because it has been played in concert after a few rehearsals is more of an improved sight-reading performance than a true knowledge of the piece. Chamber music is a veritable dialogue which requires of each musician of the ensemble, over and above a perfect technical, historical and analytical knowledge, a harmony which is both musical and human. The certification « interpretation and performance of chamber music », through contacts with the greatest masters, enables musicians to develop their interpretation and performance skills, to improve their approach to the public, and to reinforce the cohesion (the listening, sharing, pleasure and discipline) of their ensemble, thereby gaining lasting recognition in their field.
